A great (and free!) benefit of hosting a Blue Ribbon Book Fair is access to our Books on Tour project. Every year, educators from across the United States nominate great books for their respective state's award program. The Blue Ribbon Awards Collection researches those awards programs and compiles a database by state and by Lexile Level. Use the chart below to add books to your Reading Roadmap (Wish List) and start your Books on Tour Challenge - Read one book from each state's list!
Don't forget the Heritage Award list and STEM titles. With your teacher's permission, you can use titles from those lists as wildcards for state's that don't have as many titles listed.
